Military headquarters of Karelian front

The article is concerned with the intelligence activity and combat propaganda executed by the military headquarters of Karelian front in 1941-1945 in German and Finish troops. Special attention is paid to the participation of some Leningrad and Moscow philologists and humanitarians who later became internationally renowned for their contribution to world science. The article is predominantly based on their recollections and memoirs valuable as historical sources due to the authors’ qualification.
