The article defines the concept of individual educational trajectory of a high school student (IET). The article also presents the data of a pilot study, which confirms the hypothesis that the variability of the IET of pedagogical high school students is conditioned by their psychological readiness to design the IET and professional plans. The author describes the options of the IET, which students select based on their learning needs and professional plans.
