The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of young badminton players of autonomic regulation of the heart rate during various types of functional loads. Differences in heart rate responses between age groups may indicate the peculiarities of the formation of autonomic regulation in children. In the younger group (8-10 years old), a more pronounced reaction to physical activity is observed, which may indicate a higher flexibility of the autonomic nervous system. While in adolescents (11-13 years old), the adaptation mechanisms become more sophisticated, possibly due to the already formed maturity of the autonomic functions. These results emphasize the importance in young athletes of monitoring the cardiovascular system, since changes in the heart rate spectrum can be indicators of their physical condition and level of training. It is important to take into account the individual characteristics of each athlete, since they can affect the overall picture of the body's adaptation to physical activity.
