Vegetative supply of immunologic functions in healthy people distinguished by the level of short-term memory

Peculiarities of the series of immune system parameters and the activity of vegetative nervous system (VNS) in healthy people distinguished by the level of short-term memory as well as the dependence of these parameters upon the functional asymmetry of cerebral hemisphere were studied. Men with short-term memory were found to have the elevated level of some quantitative and functional parameters of T-cell and monocytic-macrophage links of immune system but selectively reduced IgA level. The comprehensive analysis taking into account the level of memory in persons with various functional asymmetry of cerebral hemisphere allowed us to detect the activity of VNS parts at rest and at the functional loads, the levels of spontaneous and induced proliferation of immune cells in vitro, "sensitivity" of proliferative cells to physiological concentrations of VNS neuromediators and HHNS hormones as well as special features of immune status in these groups. The complex dependence of immunologic parameters on the functional asymmetry of cerebral hemispheres, the level of shortterm memory and vegetative activity was found in men and women.
