We identified four groups among boys of military age in Tver Region: 1st and 2nd with moderate (28,3%) and pronounced vagotonia (24,8%), 3rd and 4th with vegetative balance (43,4%) and moderate sympathicotonia (3,5%). The lowest values of Mo, ΔX, SDNN, RMSSD, pNN50%, HRV, TP against the background of the highest values of IN were detected in the group of persons with moderate sympathicotonia. This fact confirms 3-18 times higher degree of activity of the central regulatory contour in this group in comparison with groups with normo- and vagotonic type of autonomic nervous regulation, respectively. The increase in IWR, VLF, and VAPR confirms the redundancy of sympathetic regulation and the higher level of functioning of regulatory systems among boys with moderate sympathicotonia. 4 statistically significant differences (p≤0,05) between the mean values were found in 4 groups of surveyed young men, which indicates high information value of heart rate variability criteria used for the initial assessment of the leading type of vegetative regulation.
