Milestones in the Life and Creative Activity of Historian G.P. Fedotova

In the article, in accordance with the growing need of society to study constructive ways of transforming the Russian state, the historical and theoretical views of the Russian thinker G.P. Fedotov are considered. It is emphasized that he closely followed the events that took place in the homeland, deeply and accurately assessing them. The article emphasizes that given the complex problems of the transition period in modern Russia, the development of a model of political structure is one of the necessary conditions for the countrys exit from the civilizational crisis. Touching upon the issues of post-Soviet system transformation, the thinker analyzed the land issue in Russia, formulated economic and national problems of the post-Soviet space. The relevance of objective study of G.P. Fedotovs concept, within the framework of which he created the image of Russia, is emphasized.
