Teenage vaping leads to serious diseases

The authors note that vaping has become a hobby among teenagers that poses a health risk. It is noted that fashionable electronic cigarettes harm not just one organ of the body, but also the lungs, eyes, and cardiovascular system. An advertisement warning has appeared around the world: “CAUTION: EVALI diseases are vaper diseases!” The diseases that arise from the use of electronic cigarettes are listed. In Russia, there are a number of federal and regional laws prohibiting the sale of electronic cigarettes and liquid mixtures to teenagers, providing for penalties. However, children and teenagers smoke electronic cigarettes without thinking about the health consequences. It is necessary to tighten control over the use of electronic cigarettes at all levels and strengthen preventive measures, namely health-preserving education in comprehensive schools, colleges, and universities.
