Vectors of technological transformations and prospects of Russia'S secure development in the new technological paradigm

The technological transformation of the global economy creates, along with new opportunities, significant risks for traditional business models of companies and for competitive advantages of national economies. It means that there is a need for identification of composition and nature of these risks and for recommendations that would help to minimize negative consequences related to this technological transition. The methodological basis of this paper is the general method of analysis and synthesis as well as a method of strategic matrices. The paper identifies main vectors of technological transformations that include digitization on the basis of "smart" automation, transition to additive production, change of the energy paradigm (gradual transition to carbon-free energy, and first of all - to the energy from non-oil sources) and change of the model of interaction of business agents on the basis of ecosystem and platform approach. Main threats and opportunities linked to this technological change are systemized on the basis of criterion of their nature (micro- or macrolevel). Problems that hinder the adaptation of the Russian economy to this technological change are described. Recommendations that could help to ensure the efficiency of the Russian economy on the new technological paradigm are formulated. Theoretical and applied value of the paper consists in the methodological foundations for strategies of adaptation of Russian economy to the technological change.
