The article is devoted to the fateful stage in Russian and world history. The Great Russian Revolution of 1917 radically changed not only the development trend of the Russian state, but also radically transformed the whole system of the world economy. The Bolshevik government offered the world community a model for building international economic relations, based on good-neighborliness, peaceful coexistence of states, respect for national sovereignty and equality of the parties in international legal relations. In essence, all these principles are laid in the modern system of international law, which allows us to assess them as ahead of their time frames. The young Soviet state not only declared a new view on the system of international economic relations, but also implemented it in bilateral trade, economic and political relations with countries and peoples subjected to colonial and imperialist aggression. And in the first place it was related to the countries of the Muslim world. A striking example of this is the character of the development of Soviet-Persian economic relations in the first decade of the establishment of Soviet power in Russia.
