The great silk road during the Mongol empire

This article provides a historical and geographical analysis of the state and development of the Great Silk Road in the XIII - XIV centuries. It was during this period that the growth of power of the Mongol Empire fell, which inevitably influenced the transcontinental trade of that time. A structural analysis of the Great Silk Road and the main reasons leading to the decline of trade relations in the 15th century are also carried out.
