The purpose of the study is to determine the specifics of trade between the European Union after the signing of the Free Trade Agreement. The article discusses the main ways of development of the UK and the EU in trade, key aspects of the trade agreement, methods of influencing the British market on the problems that have arisen, as well as, special attention is paid to the problems that the UK may face after signing the document in question. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that the Free Trade Agreement was signed on December 24, 2020 and at the moment it is impossible to accurately consider the economic effects, only to analyze the problems and concerns of British companies about the operation of the agreement. As a result, it is determined that the UK will face a number of negative consequences after the signing of the Agreement, but this contributes to a freer conduct of trade policy.
