This article is devoted to verbalization of the concept 'space' in the Russian and German linguistic cultures. The linguistic-philosophical category of space is considered in different ways. The means of representation and cultural peculiarities of this concept in the unallied languages, deep analysis of semantic structure of language means expressing space relations in the consciousness of the Russian and German native-speakers are analyzed
