Verbal-nonverbal context of false utterances (in English and American fiction literature of the XX century)

Producing a false utterance, the sender deprives a communication partner of a right to receive full information. The article discusses verbal markers of false utterances, as well as nonverbal markers of falsehood. Together they constitute the verbal-nonverbal context. Analysis of the context is carried out by a complex technique that allows tracking implementation of components in terms of psychology, psycholinguistics, stylistics, literary criticism and, thus, verifying falsehood in utterances according to certain markers. The data is presented by dialogue fragments from English and American literature.
