The verse libre in prosaic rendering

The article is devoted to the semantic differences between verse libre and its prosaic paraphrase. An effort is undertaken to display the changes in the semantics of the verse text rendered by prose. The result of the survey is the conclusion that there are aspects of the semantics which are based on the resolving capacity of the form allowing of expressing in verse what is impossible to convey in prose (M. I. Shapir).
