Vertex and rib truncations of closed simple forms: for the 280th anniversary of Zh. B. L. Romeu de Lille and the 80th anniversary of N. P. Yushkin

In 2016 we celebrate the 80th anniversary of N. P. Yushkin - our contemporary, who in his lifetime became a classic of Russian mineralogy. One of the original features of his scientific style - ability to find forgotten ideas from ancient tomes, it would seem, having a purely historical interest. A vivid evidence - a preprint of scientific report [3], without losing freshness for three decades. Taking the example of the teacher, the authors of this article solve the problem of vertex and rib truncations of crystalline polyhedron by one of the founders of crystal morphology - Z. B. L. Romeu de Lisle, which 280th anniversary we celebrate this year.
