Vibration hepatox and gastropathy: clinical, morphological and stereological study

Бесплатный доступ

To evaluate structural and functional aspects of hepatic and gastric involvement in vibration disease caused by local and total vibration 112 patients were studied using a set of clinical, laboratory, endoscopic and pathomorphologic methods. The most typical signs of hepatic and gastric pathology in vibration disease are asymptomatic course, organ dysfunction, prevalent atrophic changes of mucosa and gastric wall on endoscopy. Systemic atrophy of parenchymal structures and microvessels, diffuse fibrosis and the lack of inflammation are the predominant morphological features in hepato- and gastrobiopsies. These changes are interpreted as manifestations of the regenerative-plastic insufficiency syndrome, which is particularly important for therapy tactics.
