Video analysis of swimming technique: practical recommendations for coaches to work with mass-level athletes

The problem of implementing the video analysis method of swimmer’s technique in the training process is investigated. The data of a survey of swimming coaches are presented, showing that all respondents have a positive attitude towards video analysis, but less than a third of them regularly use this method in practice. The statements of coaches about the method under consideration and their analysis are presented. Recommendations are given on the use of the video analysis method in the training process based on scientific literature and many years of practical experience.
