Multimedia video project for the improvement of phonetical and pfonological competencies

The video project has been analyzed as a relatively new method of practical phonetics. It is noted that the video project is a labour-intensive work that requires scientific systematization and logical grounding. The author's logic of three-stage video project development is proposed. Helping students to form and improve phonetic-phonological competencies, this method contributes to learn studied phonetic material and review competencies in practice. At the same time, a creative approach to information processing is completely realized with an extensive use of multimedia technologies.
