Diversity of hayfiels and pastures in Kalmykia Republic

The modern vegetative cover of desert steppe by communities with domination of feather hair-like grass (Stipa capillata), in territory of dry steppe - is only fragmentary by sheep's fescue-feather grass vegeta-tion, where they are presented by Lessing's feather grass (Stipa lessingiana), and also motley grasses (Festuca valesiaca, Salvia tesquicola, Phlomis tuberosa, Vicia villosa), is presented.
