The article examines the types of information resources and services presented on the official websites of music libraries (using the example of 13 music libraries of educational institutions of higher education), in the context of the development of a unified information space. The relevance of this study is due to the high demand for music libraries in modern Russia, as well as the contradiction that has arisen between the dynamic development of the electronic information environment, the formation of a unified information space in Russia and the lack of research that reveals the features of the formation of the content of official websites of music libraries. The work carried out an analysis of external hyperlinks, headings on the main pages of websites and web pages of music libraries, the composition of information resources (products), library and information services posted on the websites and web pages of music libraries. The study determined the total, as well as the maximum, minimum, average number of external hyperlinks, headings, information resources, library and information services, and their main groups. Methodological recommendations have been developed for the official websites (web pages) of music libraries of educational institutions of higher education (10 conservatories, 2 academies and 1 institute of music). Thanks to these recommendations, you can see which music libraries should modernize their sites or web pages (for example, make a site map, add external hyperlinks, categories, information resources).
