Victimological characteristics of minors, as victims of traffic crimes

The article examines the problem of victimization of minors as potential victims of traffic crimes. The features of the personalityof children in different age periods, their influence on theperception and understanding of the basic safety requirements of road users are analyzed. The study provides statistical data on the number of road accidents, deaths and injuries of varying severity as a result of their commission. In addition, the main causes and conditions of road traffic crime are determined, and ways to counteract this negative phenomenon are proposed.
