Victimological characteristics of cybercrime

In the context of the annual complexity of the country's crime situation, entailing reduction of protection and improvement of victimization of society, legislative activity of state bodies is considered to be one of the leading features of the system, contributing to the achievement of real results to reduce crime level and ensure the rights and freedoms of man and citizen. In modern conditions the global computer networks have increasingly significant impact on the functioning of society. Russia get benefits from the use of information systems that are based on such networks and is gradually becoming dependent on its normal functioning, causing development of new approaches to protect the interests of individuals, society and state in this area. The article considers the victimological characteristics of cybercrime.
