Victimological aspects of the rehabilitation of orphans and children left without parental care in an orphanage (based on materials of the Nizhnekamsk orphanage)

The peculiarities of rehabilitation of orphans and children left without parental care in family-type orphanages on the territory of Russian Federation on the example of Nizhnekamsk orphanage are analysed. The role of children’s home in victimological prevention for orphans and children left without parental care as the most unprotected group of minors is studied. The peculiarities of organization and functioning of a family-type children’s home and their influence on the rehabilitation and subsequent socialization of orphans are analysed. The article highlights the system of upbringing, rehabilitation and social adaptation of orphans by the example of Nizhnekamsk orphanage. Provides statistics on the reasons why orphans were placed in Nizhnekamsk orphanage in the period from 2018 to 2021.
