Modern society becoming more virtual

What are the prospects for the development of human society in the XXI century? This question worries many. Having analyzed the development scenarios that are available today, we would like to highlight the position of those researchers who are seeking a more or less comprehensive approach to assessing the future that is ahead of humanity1. This position, in our opinion, allows us to integrate in a certain way the merits of various scenarios for the development of human civilization, as we see them at the beginning of a new century. We are referring to those researchers who associate the future of human civilization with the development of computer technology and with the consequences of this development, which today appear before us as a virtual world.
