This article is dedicated to art visualization issue. Video game being the most wide-spread and popular virtual event of the modern art is selected as a problematic area. The article brings up issues concerning tasks and purposes of modern art, transformations of modern art occurring before modern art becomes virtual art, outlines the art visualization paradigm basis using video games as an example, and describes the main features. Besides, opinion regarding differentiation of simulation and virtual reality is given.
