Virtual assets as a tool of modern financial technologies: legal regulation issues

The article examines the issues of legal regulation of virtual assets. Virtual assets can contribute to economic growth and the development of new industries that can stimulate innovation and offer new entrepreneurial opportunities based on blockchain technology, as well as contribute to the development of new markets and industries. Virtual assets are based on distributed ledger technology, which implies access of all participants in a certain network to information through an identical, own copy of the registry. This allows you to establish and confirm ownership of virtual assets, as well as create unique and limited-edition digital objects that can be collected and sold. The source of the analysis was the regulatory documents of the Kyrgyz Republic and the works of scientists, which examine issues of modern financial technologies as a tool for legal regulation of virtual assets, which have now received recognition from the world community and are actively penetrating into a wide variety of areas.
