The paper analyzes the changes in the employment system that are an aspect of modern social transformation caused by the development of a postindustrial society. The contemporary researchers believe that labour is changing in many ways today. Therefore, the humanity will have a future without labour. This paper is to fill the gap in studies reviewing the future of work in terms of social philosophy by means of the dialectical, comparative and comprehensive methods. The research discusses several emerging trends and interpretations in the field of vita activa (pharmacological and biotechnological ones) such as labour human enhancement, robotization of production and household processes. The Asian and European approaches to changes in the world of work are described. The author reveals the transformations in labour activities leading to the increased mobility on the labor market and allowing a person to change jobs according to his professional interests and needs.
