Visual communication as creative resource of contemporary modernization

This essay is presentation of views to creative economy and visual communication in context of urgent tasks of modernization. It is underlined that creative economy is imperative of social transformations and sustainable development. Author shows the various approaches to study of the subject. The key point of this contribution is explanation of creative economy as specific visual culture and its material and stylistic manifestations. The theme of essence and particularities of modernization in Russia is also important issue of this essay.
