Visual interpretation of hemolysis - stare at preanalytical phase

Over the past decade, reliability and standardization of the analytical methods increased, thus reducing the percentage of analytical errors more than 10 times [1]. Herewith the percentage of pre-analytical errors remains quite high. It is found that most errors occur during the procedures of material collection and transportation into a laboratory, i.e. during the activities usually assigned to non-analytical part of pre-analytical phase.
