The contribution of Chelyabinsk tractor plant into the development of tank production in the Urals during the Great Patriotic War

In this paper, an overview of the activities of the Kirov plant in Chelyabinsk in the Great Patriotic War. The material gives an idea of the formation of the enterprise, the main problems in the development of tank production during this period. Article illustrates the contribution of this giant tank industry in the Urals to the victory on the economic front.
