Contribution of the fuel and energy complex companies to sustainable development of the regions of their presence

For Russian business, especially large business, following ESG-agenda, which is the implementation of sustainable development principles in activities, is no longer a tribute to fashion, but rather a conscious necessity, aimed at preserving the competitiveness of enterprises. The article analyzes the activities of the largest Russian companies of the fuel and energy complex aimed at reducing the environmental impact in the region ofpresence on the basis of official statistics. The contribution of the fuel and energy complex companies to the sustainable development of the region is assessed.
