Contribution of universities in generation of innovation and knowledge transfer

In this article considers the problem the influence of education in universities on the development of innovative entrepreneurship of the country. In the work was assessed the the position of Russian universities in terms of staff training, was compared the innovative activity of Russia and foreign countries. Also considered were concepts of innovative development and was studied the government's influence on the development of universities. In conclusion, are presented the problems hindering innovation activities of universities.
