The article summarizes the experience in building the strategic relationships between representatives of business and civil society organizations with the public authorities of the Northwestern Federal District by case study of the independent nonprofit organization “Strategic partnership on economic and social development of the Northwestern Federal District". The author discusses tasks, objectives, principles and functions of the Strategic Partnership. The areas of the partnership collaboration development in the framework of an open agreement and the new model - “the conception of three levels" are also discussed.
