In the present study by recording membrane potential by changing the pH of the incubation medium in the presence of protonophore, the effect of superoxide-anion and hydrogen peroxide in the Ca2+-dependent potassium permeability of the membrane of red blood cells of patients with arterial hypertension and type 2 diabetes and healthy donors was studied. Products of xanthine - xanthine oxidase have different effects on Ca2+-activated K+-channels of erythrocytes in patients with arterial hypertension and type 2 diabetes and healthy donors. Superoxide-anion in its application to the outer side of the membrane does not alter the activity of Ca2+-activated K+channels as both patients and healthy donors. Hydrogen peroxide increases the Ca2+-dependent K+-permeability of the membrane of red blood cells of patients and reduces it from healthy donors, but only in the processing of erythrocyte catalase inhibitor. The combined effect of hydrogen peroxide and ƒ1 adrenergic receptors agonist L-phenylephrine or PMA and hydrogen peroxide significantly increases the Ca2+- dependent K+-permeability of the membrane of red blood cells from healthy donors, but does not alter the patients with arterial hypertension and type 2 diabetes.
