This article explores the influence of social media recommendation algorithms on the formation of informational bubbles in users aged 17-30. The aim of the study is to assess users' awareness of how recommendation algorithms work and their impact on information perception. An online survey was conducted among social media users (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), identifying factors that contribute to the limitation of informational space, as well as examining the behavioral characteristics of teenagers in the digital environment. The results show that high social media activity and insufficient awareness of algorithm mechanisms increase the likelihood of users becoming trapped in informational bubbles. The article provides recommendations for improving the digital and media literacy of young people.
