The influence of anthropological discourse on the system of artistic genres

The article considers the process of cultural environmental influence on the genre-semiotic structure of secondary semiotic systems of art, primarily fiction. We chose the discourse of natural science anthropology and eugenics, which developed in the 19th century, for analysis. Under the influence of this discourse new genres in literature, literary criticism, and in a secondary way in cinema are formed. Features of anthropological discourse define the topics of artistic texts.
