Effect of atorvastatin on aggregative properties of neutrophils in patients arterial hypertension with dyslipidemia

Objective: find out the dynamics of aggregative ability of neutrophils in patients arterial hypertension with dyslipidemia patients with atorvastatin. Under supervision were 33 sick arterial hypertension of 1–2 degrees with dyslipidemia IIb type, risk 4, middle age. The monitoring group comprised 26 healthy people of a similar age. All patients received the drug atorvastatin 10 mg at night amid enalapril 10 mg twice a day. In arterial hypertension with dyslipidemia patients increased neutrophil aggregation in many respects was conditioned by breaches in the lipid metabolism, lipid peroxidation activation in plasma and their receptor rearrangements. As a result of the use of atorvastatin in patients arterial hypertension with dyslipidemia patients through 16 weeks marked normalization of lipid composition and lipid peroxidation in plasma, and after 52 weeks of normalization of lipid peroxidation and aggregative ability of neutrophils.
