The effects of poverty on the economic security of the state

The article considers the main approaches to the interpretation of the concept of “poverty”, gives an author's definition, outlines the main factors of poverty. Threats to the economic security of the Russian Federation are indicated. The relationship between the individual and the state while ensuring national security is revealed. The negative impact of the poverty factor on the state economy is considered. It is concluded that it is necessary to develop a country's socio-economic course in order to overcome poverty and ensure the sustainability of the state economic system.
