The impact of the digital ruble on the monetary policy of the Russian Federation

The article examines the essence of the digital ruble as a modern innovation of the financial system and its impact on the development of the Russian economy. A large place in the work is occupied by consideration of the reasons for the creation and introduction of the digital ruble into the Russian economy. The research is carried out by considering issues such as digitalization of the economy, corruption, reducing financial costs and others. The work analyzes the impact of the digital ruble on organizations and citizens of the Russian Federation. The main attention is paid to the prospects for the introduction of the digital ruble and how the state’s monetary policy will change under the influence of the digital ruble.
