The article considers methodological approaches to the transition to the extraterritoriality of providing social services and the impact of digital initiatives on ensuring the availability and efficiency of pension provision. Based on a comparative analysis of the principles and methods of providing social services, the advantages and disadvantages of the experience of implementing standard digital platforms, the authors substantiate the possibility of implementing elements in the field of pension provision that allow for personal and operational communication of providers and consumers of pension services without reference to the territorial aspect. To move to an extraterritorial format for providing pension services, it is necessary to use artificial intelligence to create the necessary conditions for the development and implementation of modern technologies; to create conditions for increasing the income and quality of life of the population; to change the structure and quality of pension services. The results of the research can be implemented in the practice of state and non-state systems of providing pension services both in the traditional format and in the post-pandemic period.
