Influence of color in architecture on human. The Bauhaus look and modernity

Бесплатный доступ

The article raises the question of the psychological influence of color on a person and his social behavior. The issue is considered from the point of view of the Bauhaus school, which was the first to build social housing, using color not only for decoration, but also to improve people's well-being. It tells about two treatises of that time: "The Art of Color" by Itten and "The Interaction of Color" by Albers, as well as about their application in action on the example of the architecture of Bruno Taut. This painstaking process of work is contrasted with the architecture of modernity: the same social housing, but what is wrong with it?
