The influence of demographic factors on socio-economic development of the country

The article deals with the theoretical issues of the impact of the population, including the working age population, on society as a whole and on the dynamics of gross domestic product (GDP). The impact on labour productivity and GDP by the age structure of the population, taking into account differences in labour productivity, is specially considered.
