Influence of demographic processes on economic development of rural areas in Russia and its regions

The article considers the problem of the impact of demographic factors on the formation of labor resources in rural areas of Russia and its regions. Using the data of the population census 2010, carried out a statistical analysis of economic and demographic interrelationships. Held the forecast of change of the rural population of the Smolensk region in the working age at 15-year horizon.
