Effect of dynamic loading parameters when vibrating to equivalent stress and wear speed in sliding contact

The calculation of stresses in a flat sliding contact under the conditions of vibrational friction during fretting is given. The calculation and experimentally estimated the influence of mechanical loading parameters (load, amplitude and oscillation frequency) on the equivalent stresses in the contact and the linear wear rate of the friction surfaces.
