The influence of tremor hyperkinesis on the development of depression in Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor (analytical review)

Background. The study of the relationship between tremor in Parkinson's disease and the level of depression is dictated by the high prevalence of these conditions in the population as a whole, especially among the elderly. Currently, depression is considered not only as a psychiatric, but also as an important general medical problem, which is determined by its high incidence in the population and association with a number of somatic disorders.
