The article considers the impact of external factors on the development strategy of the garment factory. To develop a strategy it is necessary to analyze the external environment, which implies the observation of the processes occurring in the environment, evaluation factors, and establishing a link between the strengths and weaknesses of the organization and also opportunities and threats that are enclosed in the external environment.
