In this paper, the dependences allowing prediction of tribological properties of Ti 1-хAl хN systems in their phase and elemental composition have been received, was established that improved wear and antifriction properties of Ti 1-хAl хN system is due to increase of aluminum content in it, and the hexagonal phase h-Ti 3Al 2N 2.
