The effect of the phytopreparation kargmeza on cellular and humoral immunity in cattle pasteurellosis

The aim of the research was to develop a drug to increase the immunity of animals, as well as to develop a scheme for the etiotropic treatment of pasteurellosis. We found that in animals with pasteurellosis, regardless of breed, there was a suppression of the proliferation of thymus-dependent and bursa-dependent lymphocytes, and an increase in natural killers. A decrease in bactericidal and lysozyme activity of blood serum was established. The effectiveness of the etiotropic treatment of pasteurellosis showed that the number of T- and B-lymphocytes, the level of bactericidal and lysozyme activity of blood serum recovered faster in the Ayrshire and Red-Steppe breeds, which indicated an increase in the immunobiological reactivity of the body compared to the Holstein-Friesian breed.
