The influence of various factors, such as pH, concentration of phenol, hydrogen peroxide, the catalyst loading and temperature on activity and stability of Fe/Al-montmorillonite is studied. The optimal conditions of wet phenol peroxide oxidation catalyzed by Fe/Al-montmorillonite are established.
