Influence of TNF- on gum pockets in autoimmune diseases

This article examines the influence of the tumor necrosis factor α on the development of inflammatory processes in the tissues of the periodontium in autoimmune diseases such as ulcerative colitis. The interaction of the tumor necrosis factor α with other cytokines and its influence on various pathological conditions is analyzed. The study aims to understand the mechanisms of development and progression of periodontal diseases in autoimmune disorders and to find possible treatment methods.
